Glad to see you here too Rick. We'd love to hear about your experiences with music!

( Just to let other's know Rick was in a group called Parsec )

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parsec

snip......

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A parsec is the distance from the Earth to an astronomical object which has a parallax angle of one arcsecond. For other uses, see Parsec (disambiguation).
See 1 E16 m for comparable lengths, and scientific notation for an explanation of the notation used in this article.
The parsec (symbol pc) is a unit of length used in astronomy. The length of the parsec is based on the method of trigonometric parallax, one of the oldest methods for measuring the distances to stars.

The name parsec stands for "parallax of one second of arc", and one parsec is defined to be the distance from the Earth to a star that has a parallax of 1 arcsecond.

I still listen to rock music when I'm in the car going somewhere. It brings back a lot of memories. Once ( around 1974 ) we went to a place called the Purple helicopter when Joan Jet was with the Runaways. I have some pictures around here somewhere I'll have to scan and post one of these days. The only other concert I went to was Peter Frampton and the Beach boys had one close by in the 70's too, I really get claustrophobic in crowds so we didn't go to concerts much, but the ones I did go to I really enjoyed. We worked a swing shift in a Steel mill too so it was hard to go anywhere much. We didn't have many weekends off. We worked 5 days then had a day off then 5 afternoons then had a day off then 5 midnights and had 2 days off so our days off could fall anywhere during the week. Made it hard to plan going anywhere working like that.

I'm looking forward to hearing about your stories. I think we all have interesting stories, it's always fun to learn more about people and share our life experiences with others.

Hi Again Karen, I have played on stage with the runaways back in LA at the Whiskey, my drummer was dating Lita Ford for a while. Wow, so long ago. Rick

Hi Rick,
Welcome to the forum. Hope you'll enjoy your
visits here.

I reckon it should be quite interesting listening to what
you got up to when you were famous Grin
