I am the newby on the site and would like to tell you about myself.. I am a single mom living in Texas.  I homeschool my son , 12, who has severe allergies that prevent his attending school and post public places.  We are Jewish/Christians my name is a spelling of my hebrew name
Betsheva  and that means daughter of the oath... that can mean oath in the way of a vow or a curse.. and I am sre my Father has felt both ways about me....I was adopted and raised in the Baptist Church, but found out my bio mom was Jewish in 1999 and it really changed my life.. I began to read the Bible and search out what it said in Hebrew and Greek... it gave me  a hunger I had never had before... My adoptive family doen't exactly understand every thing I believe anymore, but they see a difference in my life....My osn and I have learned so much in these past 8 years and God has blessed us too! I hope to get to know you all and share with you more of my life and yours.

I didn't even know that the Bible was written in Hebrew and Greek until I started watching SCN, and got a Strong's concordance, and now have a Strong's on my E-Sword, what could be easier then that, have the Hebrew and Greek words come up in a pop up window while your reading along! And you can even instantly search for a key word or phrase then just hit the back button to where you started out again. I just love all the options for side trips we can take with our E-Sword too. Check on commentaries, check other dictionary's, other translations, other places the same word was used...... You can get a lot deeper meaning from what is written in the Bible by spending a little extra time and checking out what the words used means, it's Hebrew history through the time line.

The Bible is so amazing, it has tons of things it tells us about then has different ways of teaching us to look at those things we've learned about. It gives comfort and power at the same time, and salvation, forgiveness....... love, prophesy, insight, help, hope...

.. everything it does everything.... all we have to do is learn about it and grow with it. Study it.... I think it helps us learn more to by doing things like taking the quizes to help us remember and get us thinking about different parts of the Bible together. And doing studies, the E-Sword makes it so easy to do different kind of studies, I like doing words and seeing what English word was used in the translation for different Hebrew words, sometimes there is a really wide scope of words used for just one Hebrew word....

The King James Concordance in E-Sword is easy to use for that just click on a word and click on KJC and it shows you were the word was used and what the English word ended up being.....
