Good Morning everyone, Today is my 'Friday' VW day, so I'll be out for a few hours. Tonight I'm supposed to go to Church choir practice, but the way I'm feeling about the Church at the moment, I'm not sure I'll be going tonight or on Sunday. Back to today, the weather is not looking good again, but not to worry. Hopefully I'll dodge any rain showers. Whatever your doing today, hope it's a good one. Haha, the sun just made an appearance, but will it last.

Hi Carer, Hope you had a great day.
Just wanted to mention that you should check out the sky at dusk, the moon is at a sliver with a star right beside it, it is beautiful. Go out at dusk and take a look if you get a chance too.
I've been getting some rain here.
Love Karen

Hi Karen, We have seen a new moon these last few days and it has been really clear and bright as if washed in washing up liquid. Your moon sounded wonderful to be able to look at.

Good Morning, on this, so far, sunny day. Though I'm not sure it will last and it looks quite breezy. Got plenty to do today both online and off. Wonder which will win out. : Have a great day

Thanks Carer, Hope you have a great day too. It is supposed to hit 85 degrees today in Hartville Ohio, with lots of sun and no rain in sight. I spent all day on line yesterday so I will definitely spend some time out side today and see if I can't get my yard to look more like a yard then the jungle it looks like now. Here's a Google Earth picture of my yard so you can see I have a lot of work that needs to be done.

Hi Carer, it's not only green today but very wet too. LOL. This is a new picture so this one wasn't posted anywhere else before but it is very similar since it is the same place. I'm not sure if you seen it at your site or at Lampstand. I've lived here for 29 years now so it's a very "big" part of my life. I don't think you'd be as "green" with envy if you put in all the work that it needs to take care of it all. I didn't mind when I was younger but it is a lot harder now at 52 and I don't do a very good job of taking care of it now, but I still love living out in the country. I was just wondering what happened to your avatar? And wanted to remind you your welcome to put your site links in your signature and even make a post about your sites in the web site section or here ( or both ) if you would like and let everyone here know about your forum.

Hi Karen, I'd let nature takes it's course. The deer were happy enough to come visit so I wouldn't worry. Your right though, the more you have the more it takes to look after it. Only just realised my avatars missing and can't remember which one I had Lol I'll sort another one out. I will put my forum link here, thanks Karen. Talking of links in sigs, did I tell you that you can now put 3 in your sig at my place, so there's room for this one there.? It would be great if a few of the others came here too cos you have lots of things here that I don't have.

Hi Carer, I think what I'll do is when I finish getting this forum set up I'll change all my signatures to just here. People will find all my sites here so that will really be the only one I really need to put in my sigs. But it would help for now to get things started so thanks I might do that anyway now instead of waiting... I might announce it's open now too in that thread I started at your site. I'd just love to have some of Emily's pictures of her babies in the dog funny section. At least the one of them kissing. That cracks me up.... I saved it to my computer I just love it. Someday I'll have to get a lot more of my pictures scanned. I have a lot of great video too of my dogs that would be great to have as clips but I have know idea how to do that and my VCR doesn't work anymore anyway I would imagine I would need that too to do that...... I have one of Quintin driving the van that is hilarious ( he's on Keith's lap) but looks like Quintin is driving and we stop at a stop street and Quintin looked both ways before starting across... I love it..... but I probably have over 200 video tapes I've made over the years and to find that one section from that one tape would probably take me months..... even if I did know how to transfer them to the computer. Maybe someday I'll be able to do that kind of stuff but I've already got so many projects going on I don't know if I'll ever get to them all..... I'd let nature takes it's course. The deer were happy enough to come visit so I wouldn't worry. I could just claim I'm going for the natural look...... but so far I think people are thinking I moved away and the place is abandoned..... :

Good Morning Karen & smilies It's a wet one today, but not to worry, we need it, or rather the plants do, well we do too, of course : Haven't decided what I'm going to do today. There's plenty of things to do on my site and I'll probably crack on with those and see what I can get done. Have a great day. God Bless

Hey Karen, does it always rain in your country on Bank Holidays like it does here ? Do you have the same Bank Holidays as us ? Hope your well today. Got anything planned.? Not sure what I'm doing today yet. Hope you have a Blessed and Peaceful day.

I think a lot of our Holidays are the same. Today is our Memorial Day where we remember all our loved ones and service people who have passed on. A lot of people have cookouts and parties today. When I was growing up my mom and dad would always have people over to view the local parade. The parade route would go right past our house so a lot of people would come to our house to watch the parade in our yard. Everyone brought their own lawn chair and pick out a spot in our yard. When I was in High School I was in marching band so I got to march in the parade. Kids who had bicycles would decorate up their bikes with cray paper and balloons and ride their bikes behind the parade. After the parade a lot of people who had family buried in the local cemetery would go visit the graves that were planted with fresh flowers the day before. Then go to their family cookouts. My Dad also had family a couple hours away in a cemetery and we would go to that cemetery and decorate the graves of my dad's first wife and his youngest child from that marriage. Then we would visit with friends and relatives who live close by there. It was where dad grew up. Most of my family is gone now and I live pretty far away from the cemetery and I'm not much up to travel very far alone so I just kind of hang out at home. I've often thought that I maybe should of stayed closer to home instead of moving way out in the country. But I do love living way out here even though it is far away from the community I grew up in. We had some rain here yesterday but it is beautiful today. I remember most years it was very nice weather for Memorial Day. Sorry to hear your having a rainy day today.

Hi Carer, How ya doin? I didn't relise Karen wanted Jim and Megs kissing picture on here, I will have to find it. Every time Meggie thinks she's done something out of line she tries to kiss Jim, LOL, he is the huge ferorious Alpha dog, well after me that is. (Actually he's half her size.) Meggie's birthday today she's 4. Have you been to choir lately Carer? Mine has finished for the summer apart from meeting a few times in people's homes. :
