Hi there Karen,
I couldn't find a 'Suggestions' or 'Contact Admin' thread so thought I'd
start this one. Hope it's OK, you can always 'move' it or whatever or have
it as the 'official' suggestions/comments thread.

I just wondered if you planned to include:
A category for other pets/wild animals as well as for dogs ?
Perhaps we could chat about 'Animal Programmes' on tv ?

Can we have 'Word Games' in the General Category ?
These are popular on most sites and help people get to know each other.
They are great way to get people posting too.
Maybe we could include other fun stuff too like Jokes and funny stories ?

I know it says 'anything and everything' but I don't want to go adding stuff
that you don't really want. Have you thought that some people might take
this to mean 'literally' anything'  Shocked and be an open invitation to 'spammers' etc ?

 Grin

Hi Carer, I just figured this general category would be the contact Admin thread. For questions or suggestions or what ever people might want to post about.

Yes there's going to be more animal categories. The next one will be catfunny.net / all about cats.

There will also be

Horsepicture.org

Animal Picture.us
Funny Animal.us

Picture of world map.net

Antique Future.net
Antique Dish.net

Fairy Picture .net

Fun stuff

Blogs/ websites/ computer stuff

Yes to all your other questions, and I'm hoping people will be more more mature then to post spam or offensive things. If I start having problems with that sort of thing I'll ad rules to the welcome thread as we move along.

I named this site Your Forum Topic so people would feel free to post what ever is on their mind, either in the catagories that are up or if they don't feel their topic fits anywhere in the topics that are up then they can just start their own topic in this general catagory.

Hi Karen,

I think that is a really good idea trusting people on their own. Smiley

Thanks Lynne,

Everyone who signs up reads and agrees to follow basic forum rules ( they come with the forum script  Smiley )  and are mostly just good manners to have in public ..... most people I've met on line are really nice people with very good manners to begin with......

People who just post nasty things are usually just one person out of a thousand who will not follow any rules anyway.

This is my first attempt at having a forum so maybe I'm starting out being nieve.... but I can censer words or warn people or even band someone who just wants to ruin things for everyone else if the need should ever arise.

I just wanted a place where I could have one forum for all my web sites ( and future sites ) instead of having one for each separate site.

I enjoy going to other peoples sites and blogs that are really interesting so I thought why not let them tell about their sites here too. I think we'll get a great mix of people and interests going.

For the start up I don't expect to many people will join up right away so it should be easy enough to watch over, then once I link from all my sites to here for the forums it will probably grow faster but I think it will be self policing by all the members.

I think most of the people that will come here will be coming here because they have a particular interest and have something better to do with their time then just cause trouble, and those people don't need a lot of rules to tell them how they should act in a public forum.

I want people coming to this forum to feel free to talk about what interests them, relax  and not have to worry about anything.

The people who come to a forum is what makes the forum and I went people to feel at home here because it is really their forum or rather Your Forum Topic.
