Thank you for sharing Richard's story with us, it brought tears to my eyes and reminded me of a very sick tiny orange kitten who showed up at our door when my husband and I were first married. We fed him with a medicine dropper and got medicine for him from the vet. The vet didn't hold out much hope for him but he grew up big and strong and was just so amazing gentle and loving. We named him gingerbread. We ended up with lots of cats and dogs and even a few rabbits over the years.

 They are all so special in their own way. We are so privileged to get to know them.
