Face Book has a fantastic farming game!
You start out with a plot of ground and start farming it. You can go to the "store" and buy seeds. Then take them home and plant them. Grape seeds grow to harvest in just 4 hours. Stop by the market and hire someone to harvest your crops. You can harvest them yourself but you will recieve more money if someone else harvests for you and they make money too. Other crops take longer to grow. Potatoes, strawberries,watermelons and cabbages take one day. Rice, tomato, wheat and peas take two days. Sunflower, coffee, corn and onions take 3 days and Pumpkins take 4 days. Your crops will stay good in the field for as long a time as it took to grow them. For example you can plant a crop of grapes and in 4 hours you can harvest it and take it to market to sell it. Leave it in the field longer then 4 hours after they are ripe and they will rot on the vine no crop no harvest no money. As you make money from your crops you can buy all kinds of things for your farm, animals, flowers, houses, barns, ponds, fences, hedges, all kinds of things. If your friends join and start a farm they can be your neighbor and send you great things as gifts faster then what you can "unlock" things to buy. What a great deal! It's worth it to have friends and neighbors on farm town and a great way to meet new friends.
