Zhucheng in Shandong province known locally as "dinosaur city" has had many important finds since 1960s. The researchers have found a new fossil field that looks to be even more important. 3000 dinosaur bones have been dug up from one pit and thousands more unearthed at a nuber of sites nearby. They have found tyrannosaurus and ankylosaurus bones also the largest duck-billed dinosaur ever excavated. They are making plans to set up a fossil park in the area.
