I like to sell art photos and posters on my web sites. Soon I will be starting another web site called Karenstrees.com and show pictures of my trees on my site and tell about them. Why I planted them, how well they have grown over the years in my yard and provide information about how they should continue to grow in my yard. By starting this art gallery I'll be able to sell pictures of my trees as well as show them and tell about them on my web sites.

This one is called a Dawn Redwood Tree.

Here is a close up of what the bark looks like. It looks like an every green tree in the summer, but in the winter it turns all brown and looks like it's dead, but in the summer it is all nice and green again. This tree is said to be a tree that grew back when Dino's roamed the earth. It is fast growing and said to be able to grow 20 feet in a year and grow to 200 feet tall. And maybe even live 2000 years! Mine hasn't kept up that pace but it has a long way to go yet. One of my fears is that when I'm gone the next owner here might think it is dead in the winter and cut it down it takes it a while in the spring time to start showing signs that it is alive.

Check out my poster gallery and maybe even sent up your own!
