In most forums including this one you need a photo host they will give you the codes that are used to put pictures on the forum.
I use Photobucket it is free to use.
Here is the URL for it.
http://photobucket.com/register.php?ref=login Create an account with them then you can start uploading pictures to thier service.
Once your account is open press
BROWSE in photobucket and look for the folder with the photo in it from on your computer that you want to put on the forum, hightlight it then press
OPEN down the bottom, then press
UPLOAD in photobucket.
You will then see a set of codes to put your picture on the forum. Highlight IMG, the bottom one, right click it and press COPY then come to the forum right click again and press PASTE where you want the picture to go.
If it is a large picture that will streatch out the forum page you have two choices. You can either click on the 2nd piece of code called direct link
http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s143/KarenCharin0/MP.jpgand just post the link to your picture or you can resize your picture smaller at photo bucket by clicking on the edit link above your picture and then click on the resize link.
Click on the size that you would like your picture to be. Then on the far right you will see a link back to your photo album where you can get your code.
In most forums you are limited to a vary small size 100x100 pixel picture in order to upload your picture as an avitar like my Lion and Lamb picture under my name. This is a good way to get your picture small enough to use on forums for your avitar.
