I have a buckeye tree in my yard but I wasn't sure what kind of buckeye tree it was until I seen the picture of the Bottlebrush Buckeye about half way down the home page on my
buckeyetree.net site.
This site gives more information on the Bottlebrush Buckeye.
http://www.cnr.vt.edu/dendro/dendrology/syllabus/factsheet.cfm?ID=273Can you post a picture of the leaf? Do you know what the nut looks like? I was trying to find some pictures of nuts that different trees have but haven't had much luck so far. I'll keep looking to see what I can find out for you so you can get your trees identified. Your right about knowing what kind of tree it is so that you know how to care for it better and the best spot to plant them. Let us know if you figure out what kind of tree it is. I'll post more if I can find any more information on how to identify trees.
And welcome to the forum!
